Nobody will be oblivious to the appalling terror attacks in Paris earlier this month. My sincere condolences go out to the French people, and others affected by the recent spate of senseless, inhuman attacks on innocent people. My thoughts are with the survivors and the families of the victims.
Although the House of Commons rose at the end of July for the summer recess, my constituency office remains as busy as ever with many Buckingham constituency residents contacting me to express their views about wide ranging issues.
Geographically, Buckingham is a rather large constituency but in spite of its rurality, and the great distances which sometimes separate one settlement from its nearest neighbour, I am repeatedly struck by the strong sense of community I observe when I visit local towns and villages.
